Here’s a nice way to mix it up when dieting. Often we get a little bored without bland ideas for diet friendly cooking. It’s important to keep ideas fresh and interesting, so that you don’t get sick of your food and fall off track.

Marinade your chicken overnight, for maximum flavour uptake. When preparing your chicken be sure to choose a non-oil cooking method as you don’t want to add additional calories which were not accounted for. I personally prefer air frying, another option would be to lightly spray your pan with a little bit of spray and cook.


Chicken Marinade

1 Cup lemon juice

1 Tsp Garlic

1 Pinch of mixed herbs

1 Tsp Chicken spice

A sprinkle of salt and pepper


Salsa

½ an onion, diced

1 finely chopped tomato

A sprinkle of lemon pepper

A sprinkle of salt


Tzatziki Dip

175ml fat free plain yoghurt

50ml lemon juice

½ cucumber finely chopped

A few sprinkles of salt and pepper
